A Nepali graduate on PGWP with a Canadian Master, CLB 9 English, 12 months of skilled Canadian work, and age 25 to 32 often reaches CRS 450 to 500. A category-based draw or provincial nomination can push above the invitation threshold.
Application timeline
- Complete PGWP employment in a skilled NOC role.
- Take an English or French language test (IELTS General Training or CELPIP-General for English; TEF Canada for French).
- Get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for foreign degrees; Canadian degrees do not need ECA.
- Create an Express Entry profile on the IRCC portal.
- Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) if selected in a draw.
- Submit a complete application within the deadline stated in the ITA.
