It is a document issued by the Ministry of Education (MOE) that confirms that the student is permitted to study abroad. The NOC Nepal serves as proof that the student has fulfilled all the necessary requirements and obtained the approval of the relevant authorities to study abroad.

Getting a No Objection Certificate (NOC) means you have official permission from the government of Nepal to study in another country. It allows you to make payments to the foreign university mentioned in the NOC. When you want to pay for your studies, you need to show the NOC to the bank. You can only make payments to the specific institution mentioned in the NOC.

If you want to pay for more than one institution or study in more than one country, you will need separate NOCs for each. The NOC is also required if you want to exchange Nepalese rupees (NPR) into other foreign currencies.

To apply for a NOC application in Nepal, you need to provide the following documents:

• A copy of your citizenship certificate or passport
• A copy of the letter of acceptance from the university you will be attending

To obtain a NOC, you need to follow these steps:

• Verify your application form and documents at Window 3.
• Pay the fees (NRP 2,000) at Window 2.
• Submit your documents to Window 4 and get a token number.
• Collect your NOC at Window 6.

Usually, you can get a NOC in one day (physically) if you have all the documents and go there on time.
