How to apply for a NEB transcript in Nepal?

Here’s how to get your transcript certificate after Grade 12 in Nepal:

Requirements:

    • Wait 15 days: After your Grade 12 results are published, you’ll need to wait 15 days before applying for your transcript.
    • Gather your documents:
      • Copies of your SEE (School Leaving Certificate) mark sheet
      • Copies of your Grade 11 and Grade 12 mark sheets
      • If you don’t have physical copies, you can download and print them from the National Examinations Board (NEB) website.

  • Prepare the fee: You’ll need to pay a fee of Rs. 1100 (this amount may change, so it’s a good idea to check the NEB website for the latest information).

Steps:

  1. Visit the National Examinations Board office: Head to the Kathmandu office of the National Examinations Board.
  2. Submit your application: Once there, find the appropriate department to handle transcript requests. They will likely have an application form you’ll need to fill out. Be sure to include your documents and the application fee.
  3. Collect your transcript: After processing your application, you should receive your transcript certificate within a minimum of seven working days.

Additional Tips:

  • Be sure you meet the minimum grade requirements to receive a transcript. In Nepal, you typically need a D+ grade in all theory subjects and a C grade in practical subjects.
  • If you’re unsure about anything or the process has changed, it’s always a good idea to contact the National Examinations Board directly for the latest information.
