Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology, also known as Northern College, was established in 1967 as part of Ontario’s college system. Situated in Northern Ontario, it offers career-oriented diploma and certificate courses, along with continuing education programs.

The main campus, located in Timmins, Ontario, overlooks Porcupine Lake and serves as the hub for students from around the world, with 82% of its student body coming from abroad.

International students can benefit from scholarship programs, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. For bachelor’s level programs, a GPA of 50.0% or above in class 12th is required, while for PG programs, a 2-year UG diploma or a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 50% or higher is necessary.

Requirement:

For Under Graduate and Graduate programs:

  • IELTS – 6.0 Overall (each band not less than 6.0)

           *Note: Only Under Graduate program may have a minimum of 5.5 in any one band.

  • DUOLINGO Test: 105 points
  • PTE: For Under Graduate- 58 points

: For Post Graduate- 60 points

  • TOEFL Ibt – 79 points
